Description
White mustard is a plant with yellow flowers that grows quickly even on poor soils. It thus limits the development of weeds. Its roots, numerous and deep, loosen the soil and capture the nitrates present in the soil.
Successive crops in the vegetable garden draw on the soil's reserves. Soil-beneficial plants have the advantage of regenerating the soil, limiting the development of weeds and attracting pollinators that help with natural biodiversity. The harvest can also be used for green manure.
