It is sown in January for seedlings or in March directly in the garden . It germinates in 15-20 days and develops optimally at temperatures of 15-20 degrees. The pods are dark purple and flat, and the grains are green and large.

• Before sowing, soak the seeds for 12 hours in cool water.
