The Latina is an annual flower with a creeping stem. The Latina is sown in April at the plant's permanent location, because the root system is easily damaged when transplanting. 3-4 seeds are placed in the nest and after about two weeks they sprout, and flowering occurs about a month later. The soil should be fertilized sparingly. Water as needed, but do not overdo it, because the flower does not tolerate very wet soil.
