This new pump is the ideal solution for above ground pools, optimizing the cost and time of water cleaning, resulting in cleaner and fresher water without being overloaded with chlorine. The innovative Krystal Clear saltwater system that uses this chlorine generator combines a new exclusive two-phase technology to disinfect the pool water.

Initially, a small amount of chlorine, which is not harmful to swimmers, is formed when natural salt (harmless to the environment) is added to the pool water passing through the titanium electrolytic cell during the filtration process. The result is fresh, clean water, free from the harshness and effects of pool chemicals.

Then, due to the ECO (electrocatalytic oxidation) process, the water molecules are broken down into very strong oxidants capable of destroying microorganisms such as bacteria and algae. The combination of these oxidants and natural chlorine results in a more effective and healthier pool sterilization.

This second process, unique to the Intex saltwater system, offers the user an important benefit. The ECO process is so effective that it reduces the presence of chlorine by around 60%: this means that the user will not only get more out of the chlorine generator, but will also be able to swim in a pool with much less chlorine inside.

Intex combines these two excellent systems into one product, giving above ground pool owners an affordable, low maintenance product that will keep their swimming pools clean, safe and comfortable. Both drainage systems are automatically controlled by a 24-hour timer.
