Description
The Fischer TherMax 8 distance insulation system is a solution for installation in external walls without a thermal bridge in ETICS. The glass-fibre reinforced cone-shaped stud screw pushes its way through the plaster into the insulation. During installation, the stud screw is screwed into the UX universal fastener and is thus firmly fixed in the building material. The frost protection cone on the tip of the stud screw creates a thermal barrier and holds the external fastener in place. The TherMax fastens light loads, such as lighting fixtures, letter boxes or lightning rods, to concrete, aerated concrete and solid and perforated brick masonry. The TherMax 8 is suitable for pre-positioned installation. The self-tapping, glass-fibre reinforced cone pushes its way through the plaster into the insulation during installation. The frost protection cone uses a thermal barrier to minimise heat loss. For use in wood without a dowel, the wood (see note below the load table) and plaster must be pre-drilled: TherMax 8: d02 = 14 mm, h02 = 50 mm.
