Description

AV receiver

YAMAHA RX-V6A receiver, 7.2 channels, 8K/4K120, Dolby Atmos, MusicCast

Home cinema with surround sound and HDMI 2.1 connection for an 8K TV and a new console.

The Yamaha RX-V6A is a 7.2-channel AV receiver that builds a full home cinema with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X and combines a TV, consoles and streaming in one device. Seven HDMI inputs and one output handle all sources in the room, while the built-in FM tuner, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide access to radio and music from your phone. The automatic YPAO-R.S.C. setup measures the room's acoustics and calibrates the speakers for you.

Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround sound in 7.2 channels

The Yamaha RX-V6A plays Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, which position sound above the listener's head — dialogue stays clear and action scenes envelop the room. Height Virtualizer creates the sense of ceiling speakers even when you have none installed.

YPAO-R.S.C. calibrates sound to the room

The built-in microphone and YPAO-R.S.C. with multi-point measurement analyse reflections in the room and adjust the level of each speaker automatically. This way the Yamaha RX-V6A sounds balanced even in a room with lots of furniture or glass surfaces.

MusicCast, AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth for music from any device

Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz), AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and Bluetooth send music to the Yamaha RX-V6A directly from a phone or tablet. Via MusicCast the receiver connects with other Yamaha devices for multi-room listening, and wireless rear speakers save running cables.
