RainPoint Pool Thermometer
The RainPoint Pool Thermometer is a kit consisting of a floating sensor and an indoor receiver, allowing you to conveniently monitor the water temperature without leaving your home. The device operates wirelessly at a range of up to 100 meters, and data is updated every 3 minutes. The sensor measures water temperature in the range of -9.9°C to 50°C, while the receiver additionally displays indoor temperature (-9.9°C to 60°C) and humidity (1%–99%). The model features a waterproof IP68 design, large LCD displays (on both the sensor and receiver), battery power, and the option to expand with a HUB for control via a mobile app.
Measuring water temperature and indoor conditions
The pool sensor allows you to monitor water temperature in real time within a safe operating range, which is important for daily use of a pool or hot tub. The indoor receiver expands functionality to include measurement of indoor temperature and humidity, giving you a more complete picture of conditions. This solution is particularly useful when you want to compare water temperature with ambient temperature. As a result, it’s easier to plan your pool use.
Stable wireless communication
The device transmits data over a distance of up to 100 meters, giving you the freedom to place the receiver inside your home or on the patio. Information is updated every 3 minutes, so readings are regular and predictable. This interval works well for everyday use, where operational stability is key. Thanks to this, you don’t have to worry about frequent signal loss.
Waterproofing and design for use in water
The floating sensor is designed in a shape inspired by an “iceberg,” which enhances its stability on the water’s surface. The IP68 waterproof rating protects the device from water and prevents moisture from entering the interior. This means the thermometer can remain in the pool for extended periods without risk of damage. In practice, this translates to reduced maintenance needs.
Clear display and dual-mode readings
The sensor has its own LCD display, allowing you to check the temperature right by the pool. The indoor receiver features a large screen with a wide viewing angle, displaying all key data. Additionally, the device records minimum and maximum values, making it easier to monitor changes in temperature and humidity. This gives you access to both current and historical data.
Expandable with an app
The model can work with a dedicated HUB, which allows you to check data in a mobile app. This gives you access to information even when you’re not at home. This solution increases convenience and gives you greater control over pool conditions. It’s particularly useful when using the device regularly.
