QUICK DRYING KIT PRESTO 200 ML

Quick-drying Presto kit 200ml

Quick-drying latex kit for filling scratches and partially levelling small surfaces in dry rooms before painting with latex or alkyd paints. Suitable for new and previously painted wooden and chipboard panels and fibreboard surfaces, plastered and filled surfaces.

Recommended use: Walls, ceilings, furniture, doors.

Application method: Apply with a smooth trowel
Drying time (23°C and 50% relative air humidity): 1-2 hours, depending on layer thickness, temperature and relative air humidity.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Application conditions
All surfaces to be covered must be dry, the air temperature must not be lower than +5°C and not higher than +25°C, and the relative air humidity must be below 80%.

Surface preparation
1. Unpainted surfaces
Clean the surface of dirt. Brush off dust and other loose particles. Level unpainted surfaces directly with Presto Pikasilote.
2. Previously painted surfaces:
Wash the painted surfaces with Maalipesu cleaning agent. Once the surface has dried, remove as much paint as possible with a scraper and sand the painted surface to a matt finish. Clean off the sanding dust.

Application
Apply Presto Pikasilote with a smoothing trowel. Leave to dry, sand the surface and remove the sanding dust. The surface may only be sanded when dry. First fill all larger cracks, nail heads, etc. with a suitable Presto filler and sand the surface. The levelled surface will be firm and smooth. The smallest parts can be finished directly with a topcoat.

Covering
The smoothed surface is hard and smooth and can be painted directly with latex or alkyd paint. Apply filler over the sealing tape. After drying, sand the surface and remove the sanding dust.
