The Phono Box S3 B is an entry-level phono preamplifier that offers a fully balanced design in a clean, small package. The small chassis is packed with high-end features.
High-End technology
The steel and aluminum housing offers very high rigidity and isolation against external interference, which is essential for the new technology inside. Connect up to two turntables simultaneously - all parameters for each input are stored in memory . Use the gain setting to precisely match the output to other sources such as CD players or streaming devices.
Balanced by nature
Due to the internal wiring of MM cartridges, you will need to upgrade your turntable with an MC cartridge to access the full balanced signal. Together with the specialized True Balanced Connection cables, you will be able to access high-end features previously available on few models.
Discrete and symmetrical gain level
The new Phono Box S3 B amplifier stage uses a fully discrete design. The amplifier section is built from single parts and does not use any integrated circuits. The fully symmetrical amplifier stage can optimize signal-to-noise ratios.
True Balanced Connection
Connect your turntable via a 5-pin mini XLR cable and enjoy the benefits of a balanced signal path. The balanced amplification stage can extract musical information, effectively filtering out any noise from interference emanating from noisy and modern homes (e.g. from household appliances, power cords, audio amplifiers).
