The zeolite it contains permanently stabilizes the optimal pH value, which is particularly important for sensitive plants. Thanks to its water-holding capacity, it naturally regulates the water supply to the plant. Waterlogging, which often leads to root rot, is avoided by the high drainage properties of the pumice and lava. In addition, due to its pure mineral composition, the plant substrate BASICPON does not provide a breeding ground for pests such as fungus gnats. This means that it does not need to be changed even after several years and can be used again and again. This also makes it suitable for allergies. BASICPON can be used as the sole substrate or added to conventional plant soil.
