Opinel Le Petit Chef children's set, red

Children's set Opinel Le Petit Chef offers the perfect opportunity to teach your little kitchen helper. It includes a knife, a peeler and a finger guard. The set is suitable for children over 7 years old, and parental supervision is recommended when the child uses the knife.

The knife and peeler have a built-in ergonomic ring that helps with correct handling. The guard helps children keep their fingers in the correct position while protecting them from cuts.

Stainless steel with a hardness of 55-57 HRC, used in the blades is a grade optimised to ensure both high corrosion resistance and high mechanical performance. The advantage of stainless steel is that it does not require special maintenance under normal conditions of use. However, it may reach its limits if it is kept in prolonged contact with aggressive environments (acids, salt water, cleaning products, etc.).

Beech is the most commonly used wood for making Opinel handles. French beech is hard, durable and easy to work. With a homogeneous appearance, its light colour ranges from yellow to pink. It is characterised by the presence of many small dark streaks.
