Covers the following specifications: API: SP-RC ILSAC: GF-6A Recommended for the following brands of hybrid cars: HONDA KIA NISSAN TOYOTA Synthetic engine oil with bio-source for "fuel economy", specially developed for hybrid electric vehicles (H.E.V) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (P.H.E.V), equipped with the latest petrol engines, turbocharged or naturally aspirated, with direct or indirect injection, designed for use with SAE 0W-20 oil with low friction and low HTHS (High Temperature High Shear) viscosity (≥ 2.6 mPa.s). MOTUL NGEN HYBRID 0W-20 is specially developed for the technical challenges imposed by petrol hybrid cars, such as fuel dilution, water emulsion, a large number of stop/start cycles and lower oil temperature conditions. This state-of-the-art formulation is part of a completely new sustainable concept from Motul, as it contains 25% organic base (100% renewable synthetic base materials of plant origin) and is filled into a 50% recycled and 100% recyclable Motul plastic container. This organic base, using non-fossil renewable materials, limits environmental impact and allows Motul to reduce its carbon footprint by 25% during the production process. MOTUL NGEN is the common name for qualifying Motul's sustainable ranges, which use various technologies in composition and packaging to reduce their carbon footprint. This special formula can also be used for petrol engines requiring a lubricant with viscosity grade SAE 0W-20 or "Fuel economy lubricant" with viscosity grade 20, meeting API SP-RC, API SP and/or ILSAC GF-6A standards. MOTUL NGEN HYBRID 0W-20 is suitable for battery electric vehicles (B.E.V) equipped with a petrol thermal engine used as a Range Extender. It is compatible with catalytic converters and particulate filters. This type of oil may be unsuitable for use in some engines. If in doubt, consult the owner's manual.
