MOTUL NGEN HYBRID 0W-16 is an innovative and durable synthetic engine oil specially developed for hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) equipped with new petrol engines, turbo or naturally aspirated, with direct or indirect injection. It is designed to use SAE 0W-16 oil with low friction and low HTHS (high-temperature high-shear) viscosity (≥ 2.3 mPa.s). MOTUL NGEN HYBRID 0W-16 is also suitable for battery electric vehicles (BEV) equipped with a thermal petrol engine used as a range extender. Compatible with catalytic converters and particulate filters. Motul's specialised formula for maximum efficiency and lubrication protection of heavily loaded engines (start-stop, fuel dilution...). 25% oil of biological origin (carefully selected bio components derived from renewable resources). Bottle made from 50% recycled plastic. This specialised formula can also be used for petrol engines requiring a lubricant with SAE 0W-16 viscosity grade or a "Fuel Economy" lubricant with viscosity grade 16, meeting the standards: API SP-RC, API SP ILSAC GF-6B.
