Motor oils developed using High Performance Technosynthese technology are specifically designed for powerful and new cars powered by turbo diesel engines with injection or gasoline units with direct injection and a catalytic converter. They are compatible with all types of fuel: leaded and unleaded gasoline, ethanol, LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas), and diesel. ACEA: A3/B4 – lubricants are intended for high-revving gasoline or diesel engines in passenger cars. They are low-viscosity and are used for extended drain intervals if specified by the engine manufacturer. API: SN – used for cars with engines running on biofuel. The approval requires motor oils to be energy-conserving. At the same time, it ensures additional durability of the unit. Oils of this class are characterized by a lower phosphorus content. They correspond approximately to ACEA C2, C3, C4 specifications, without adjustment for high-temperature viscosity. API: CF – for diesel cars from 1990 onwards, with turbines. MB 229.3 – All-season lubricants with a longer drain interval - up to 30 thousand kilometers. RENAULT RN0710 under n° RN0710-12-38 – introduced in 2007 in connection with Renault Laguna III car brands. Lubricants with this approval meet the basic requirements of ACEA A3/B4 specifications + additional Renault requirements. RENAULT RN0700 under n° RN0700-12-43 – approval for motor oils for Renault, which was introduced in 2007 in connection with Laguna III. The basic requirements are for ACEA A3/B4 or A5/B5. VW 502.00 – for gasoline engines produced after August 1999. It succeeds VW 501.01 and VW 500.00. Recommended for engines operating in poor conditions. It should not be applied to engines with extended service intervals! VW 505.00 – for diesel engines with a CCMC PD-2 performance level. At SAE 10W-40 viscosity, it allows a maximum of 15% evaporation loss. This is an old specification for cars before 2000. Never confuse it with 505.01! PSA B71 2300 – intended for Peugeot and Citroën brands. The main requirements coincide with the ACEA A3/B4 specification. MOTUL 6100 SYNERGIE+ 10W-40 5L contains a high percentage of synthetic components (30 to 80%). Oils produced by MOTUL using Technosynthese® technology are semi-synthetic lubricants of the highest quality with properties approaching those of synthetic ones.
