Magnetic classic travel game - Chess

Chess is part of the "Eternal Classics in Pocket Format" series and is a magnetic version of the beloved eternal classic game. The case is light, small and compact. Extremely thin, it fits without trouble into any backpack or pocket, so you can take it with you everywhere, from a moving train to the lawn or a windy beach.

The goal of the game is to checkmate the opponent's king. White makes the first move, and then the players take turns. On your turn you may move one of your pieces to a square that is either empty or occupied by an opposing piece. In the second case you capture the opponent's piece and remove it from the board. Squares from which a piece can be captured are considered attacked. When moving, pieces may not pass (jump over) other pieces (their own or opponents').
