The three lenses allow you to get magnifications of 64x, 160x and 640x . The objective lens with magnification of 40xs has a special spring mechanism, preventing possible damage. The set includes a Barlow lens with magnification of 2x, which doubles the magnification of each objective lens. The basic set allows you to get magnification up to 1280x!
The lenses are made of high-quality optical glass and are complemented by a special anti-reflective coating, thanks to which the images are always sharp, contrasting and crystal clear.
The microscope is equipped with combined illumination, from below and above, which can be powered by the AC mains or batteries. For observing transparent specimens, such as thin sections of plants or small crustaceans, use the bottom illumination. Top illumination is used for opaque objects, such as paper fibers, coins, and many other interesting things. Translucent objects are seen better when you use both top and bottom illumination.
The reliable metal body of the microscope ensures a long service life. The 45-degree angled monocular head offers the most comfortable viewing position and prevents fatigue even after many hours of work. In addition, the head rotates 360 degrees around its axis, which is really convenient for group work.
