Levenhuk Rainbow 50L is a monocular microscope ideal for both novice microworld explorers and experienced biologists. It allows you to examine plant and animal tissues and learn more about their cellular structure, observe living microorganisms in a drop of water, and do many other interesting things!
The microscope comes with three objectives and an additional Barlow lens , which doubles the magnification of each of the objectives used. The microscope allows you to observe specimens at 40x, 80x, 100x, 200x, 400x and even 800x magnification!
The optical elements are made of high-quality transparent glass, and the lenses have a multilayer coating, which makes the resulting images clear and crisp.
Rainbow 50L is equipped with two built-in LED lighting modules , the brightness of which can be adjusted. With the bottom lighting turned on, you can observe transparent specimens, discover life in a drop of water from an aquarium or analyze the cellular structure of various plants. For observing opaque objects, you need top lighting - to examine the surface of a small stone or to notice microscopic scratches on metal surfaces invisible to the naked eye. With both lightings, you can observe translucent specimens.
The microscope body is made of high-quality durable plastic, and the head tilts 45° and rotates 360° around its axis. You can use either an electrical outlet or batteries for power.
The Rainbow 50L comes with an experiment kit that will allow you to make a wide range of fascinating observations with the microscope. The kit includes a useful guide to using the microscope, ready-made specimens, as well as tools for making your own specimens.
The Rainbow 50L microscope is compatible with Levenhuk digital cameras (purchased separately), mounting them in the eyepiece tube instead of an eyepiece.
