Karaval (Karaval 1) - soft cover

Welcome to Caraval, where nothing is what it seems.

Scarlet and Tella have never left their tiny island and have long yearned for the wonders of Caraval, the annual week-long performance where the audience is allowed to take part in the show alongside the performers.

Caraval is magic. Mystery. Adventure.

When the long-awaited invitations finally arrive, it seems the two sisters' dreams have at last come true. But no sooner have they set foot on the shore of the enchanted island than Tella vanishes, abducted by Legend, the mysterious owner of Caraval.

Scarlet has heard that everything that happens at Caraval is a performance, yet despite this she quickly falls into the dangerous webs of love, magic and disappointment.

Either way, she must find her sister before the game reaches its end and Tella disappears forever...

Whatever you have heard about Caraval, reality surpasses what you have heard. Caraval is more than a game or a performance. If magic exists in the world, you are most likely to find it right there.
