Hob

TERMOMAX TC242 induction hob, 2000 W, touch control

One cooking zone with a 250 x 250 mm glass-ceramic plate for a countertop, table or holiday home.

The TERMOMAX TC242 induction hob is a freestanding appliance with one cooking zone and a power of 2000 W. It is operated with touch buttons and an LED display, and its eight power and temperature levels cover both rapid boiling and gentle simmering. Weighing about 2 kg with a 1.2 m cable, it is easy to put away after cooking.

2000 W induction for fast heating

Induction transfers energy directly to the base of the pan, so the plate stays cool around it and cleaning takes just one cloth. It works with steel and cast-iron cookware with a magnetic base.

8 cooking programmes and 8 power levels

Modes are selected with capacitive buttons, and the current setting is shown on the LED display. The timer can be set up to 240 minutes, and the delayed start goes up to 24 hours for dishes that need to be ready at a specific time.

Overheating protection and pan detection

If there is no pan on the zone, the hob switches off automatically after one minute. The 250 x 250 mm glass-ceramic plate accepts pans with a base around the 185 mm heating area.

Compact 34 x 28 x 6.2 cm body for a second hob

A height under 7 cm allows storage in a drawer or cupboard between uses. A suitable option for a student flat, office kitchen, holiday home, or as an extra zone when cooking for guests.
