Description
Ben humidifier
Remarkably realistic flame effect
Ben is an ultrasonic humidifier and aroma diffuser with a realistic fireplace flame effect, Amber Light™, which operates very quietly and produces an extremely fine vapour. Thanks to its distinctive design, Ben stands out in any setting and turns every room into a cozy oasis of calm and meditation.
Adjustable intensity
The humidifying intensity can be adjusted smoothly (steplessly), from gently flickering flames with a subtle fragrance to a blazing fire. Ben maintains room humidity by evaporating up to 160 ml/hour, for up to 15 hours.
Dimming function
The glowing water level indicator and the flame effect can be dimmed or switched off completely.
Aroma diffuser function
Ben operates almost silently. Unlike most humidifiers, essential oils are added directly to the water in the tank, providing an even, intense and unobtrusive fragrance throughout the room. The water tank has a capacity of 2.5 l and can be topped up while Ben is in use. Ben switches off automatically when the tank is empty.
Attention! Do not use aromatic oils containing alcohol, or water treated by water softening systems. Use tap water or water from a reverse osmosis water purification system.

Important information when ordering
Room size
For low-energy, energy-efficient or passive houses and apartments with controlled ventilation, you should choose a humidifier for twice the area. For example, if the room size is 25 m², for this type of house or apartment you should choose a humidifier for an area of at least 50 m². The reason is the continuous air exchange: cold, dry outside air is warmed and fed inside. Humidity from the room is continuously ventilated outside. The result is extremely dry air in the rooms, especially in winter. Controlled ventilation systems act like windows that are always open. Therefore, when choosing a humidifier, its recommended humidifying capacity should be for a room twice as large.
Water quality
If the water in your home is very hard (above 14°dH) or you use a water softener, we advise you not to use an ultrasonic humidifier, because the limescale (or salt from the softener) in the water will turn into small particles that then settle as white dust. If you have hard water, we recommend using a humidifier with evaporation filters (for example from the Oskar or Karl series). You can measure water hardness with a test strip or by contacting your local water utility provider.
