Fjallraven Kanken No. 2 Backpack - Navy, with brown handles

Kånken was designed to provide proper back posture and to prevent back pain, especially among Swedish children. Created in 1978, the backpack quickly became an integral part of children's lives in Sweden and spread to preschools and nature schools across the country. Today, after more than 35 years, Kånken continues to be one of Fjällräven's most beloved backpacks, used by people around the world for school, work, travel and hiking.

Kånken is made of durable, twice-waxed G-1000 HeavyDuty with an inner back pocket made of G-1000 Lite. Like its predecessor, it is a sturdy and practical everyday backpack, suitable for school and work as well as for day trips or travel. The main compartment has a wide opening, which makes it easy to pack and unpack items. The back pocket features a padded seat made of G-1000 HeavyDuty, so comfort during a break is never far away. Two open side pockets and one zip pocket at the front. The details and handles are made of leather, and the shoulder straps are made of textile. The impregnation can easily be reinforced with Greenland Wax, which also increases durability.
