The "Bradas" device is useful in growing many types of flowers and vegetables. It can measure the acidity (pH) and moisture of the soil, as well as the intensity of sunlight. The device works without batteries and allows measuring pH from 3 to 10 units.
Method of use:
Humidity measurement:
Set the slider to the "Moist" position.
Carefully insert the tip into the ground, 3/4 of its height.
Wait about 5 minutes.
Check the data on the device scale.
Acidity measurement (pH):
Set the slider to the "pH" position.
Prepare a 300 - 400 g sample of the substrate, preferably collected from several locations.
Remove pebbles, leaves, roots and other debris.
Add water to make the soil muddy.
Wipe the tips of the appliance with coarse paper or a brush.
Place the device in the substrate.
Wait 1 minute.
Check the data on the device scale.
Sunlight measurement:
Set the slider to the "Light" position.
Wait about 5 minutes.
Reading the values.
low 0 - 500
medium 500 - 1000
high 1000 - 2000
Tips:
Wipe the device immediately after measurement.
water the plants only when the counter values are lower than recommended
in case of soil pH adjustment, use fertilizers based on the measurement results
