The high-performance premium battery Bosch with AGM technology is designed for the highest demands of modern vehicles with start/stop systems and numerous electrical consumers. Thanks to excellent charging combined with high resistance to deep discharge cycles, it is suitable for vehicles with brake energy recovery (regeneration). Longer life and up to 4 times higher cycle durability compared to conventional starter batteries. It delivers constant power even on short trips, in traffic jams with many start/stop phases and high energy consumption during standstill: with AGM technology, the separators made of special microfibre glass absorb the acid, and the active mass is mechanically stabilised by the compact design. Reliable starting and dependable power even after long periods of standstill: the acid absorbed by the microfibre glass separators significantly reduces the risk of failure due to sulphation. Perfect starting power and long life: thanks to the optimised design and the modern grid alloy for better current flow and reduced corrosion. Completely maintenance-free: with AGM technology, water consumption is extremely low, as the hydrogen and oxygen formed during charging recombine into water, and the modern grid alloy also helps preserve water. AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat – absorbent glass fibre separators): the acid is absorbed by separators made of microglass fibres. With AGM technology, special microfibre glass separators lie tightly between the lead plates and absorb the battery acid. High compression stabilises the active material with extremely low internal resistance. Due to the rapid reaction between the acid and the plate material, larger energy masses are released. Plate set with stable connections: the central arrangement of the connectors between the positive and negative plates creates additional stability. Sealed cap and very low water consumption: AGM technology leads to extremely low water consumption. This is because the hydrogen and oxygen formed during charging recombine into water. The improved grid alloy also helps preserve water.
