Board game World Order - Strategy

Board game World Order by the publisher Hegemonic Project Games is a large-scale geopolitical and economic strategy game for 2 to 4 players, created by designers Vangelis Bagiartakis and Varnavas Timotheou. The action takes place around 2010 – a period of dynamic change in which the world order becomes increasingly multipolar and global influence is redistributed among the greatest superpowers.

In World Order each participant takes control of one of the four dominant powers of the modern world: the United States of America, China, the Russian Federation or the European Union. Each faction is marked by strong asymmetry, possessing unique abilities, strengths and strategic constraints. The goal of the players is to expand their global influence using a combination of diplomatic negotiations, trade ties, economic influence and military force.

The game combines modern and complex mechanics such as area control (Area Majority / Influence), multi-use cards (Multi-Use Cards), deck, bag and pool building (Deck, Bag & Pool Building) and hand management (Hand Management). A special solo mode for single-player games is also included. World Order is suitable for players aged 14+, and the average length of one session is between 120 and 180 minutes.
