Hold Your Hat is a team word association game with sharp colloquial words and well-known phrases from contemporary English. A board game in which you will have to "sweat" mentally and physically to reach victory.
Players are divided into teams. A deck of word cards is formed. A colour card is chosen, which determines the words to explain throughout the entire game. On each turn, one of the players explains words that must be guessed by his teammates before time runs out.
Each team's turn ends with drawing a special card. The game continues in three rounds, with words explained by description, one word and mime. Each round ends when all the words have been guessed. The guessed words are counted and the points are recorded. The word cards from all teams are collected, shuffled and prepared for the next round. The team with the most points from the three rounds wins the game.
