Opinel Les Essentiels Peeler Blue

Peeler Opinel Les Essentiels can be used for peeling all kinds of fruits and vegetables. It features a stainless steel blade and a polymer handle that is dishwasher safe. The blade is sharpened on both sides and can therefore be used by both right-handed and left-handed people.

The stainless steel with a hardness of 55-57 HRC used in Opinel blades is a grade optimised to ensure both high corrosion resistance and high mechanical performance. The advantage of stainless steel is that it requires no special maintenance under normal conditions of use, unlike carbon steel. However, it may reach its limits if it is placed in prolonged contact with aggressive environments (acid, salt water, cleaning products, etc.).
