USB StarTech cable model N6PAT250CMRDS is Ethernet cable Cat6, designed to provide reliable and high-speed network connectivity in high-density environments. With a length of 2.5 meters and red colour, this thin cable features a construction of 4 unshielded twisted pairs (UTP) with pure copper conductors 28AWG, which improves conductivity and reduces electrical resistance. Its design is 36% thinner than a standard Cat6 cable, which provides greater flexibility and facilitates routing in confined spaces, as well as improves air circulation to reduce heat build-up in racks and panels. The connectors RJ45 male/male have contacts with 50 micron gold plating for precise connection, minimised wear and reduced signal loss, and include a snagless system that protects the clips during installation and use. The cable has LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheathing, which limits the emission of smoke and toxic gases in case of fire, complying with safety requirements for residential, industrial and poorly ventilated premises. It is tested according to the ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 standard and with Fluke equipment to guarantee optimal performance, with low crosstalk (NEXT) and minimal return loss. It allows data transfer up to 1000 Mbit/s and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE++) up to 90 W in accordance with IEEE 802.3bt Type 4, facilitating the connection and power supply of remote devices such as IP cameras and PoE switches without additional cables.
