Luja Keramik paint for tiles, base 0.9 l.

Semi-matt paint for ceramic tiles. Thanks to its excellent adhesion, the paint does not require priming. It can be tinted in Tikkurila colours. The painted surface is extremely resistant to hot and cold water, shampoos, cleaning chemicals and other stains (oil, ketchup, juice, etc.).

Recommended for wall ceramic tiles in dry and wet rooms (e.g. bathrooms, kitchens) and low-stress floors in dry rooms (e.g. toilets). The product is not suitable for painting self-cleaning ceramic tiles or walls in steam saunas.

Covering capacity: 10 - 12 m²/litre.
Application method: Brush, roller for smooth surfaces (5-7 mm pile)
Drying time: Dry to touch after 2 hours. The next coat can be applied after 16 hours. Ready for use after 2 days. The paint will reach its final hardness after 28 days, so avoid mechanical damage to the surface in the meantime.
Cleaning resistance: Resistant to cleaning chemicals and light solvents, such as white spirit. Any stains from coffee, tea, etc. should be wiped off immediately.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Application conditions
The surface to be painted must be dry, ambient temperature at least +5 °C and relative air humidity below 80%.

Surface preparation
Clean the surface of limescale using a limescale remover (e.g. Tikkurila Supi Saunapesu). To remove grease, oil or dirt, use a suitable cleaning agent (e.g. Tikkurila Maalipesu). Remove old silicone with a sharp knife. Remove silicone residues from the surface using a silicone remover. Carefully rinse the surface with plenty of water to remove all traces of cleaner. Allow to dry. Note that the tile grout must also be dry before painting.

Priming: No primer required

Painting
Surfaces must be completely clean and dry before painting. Use a roller for smooth surfaces or a brush.
1. Stir the paint well before use, then pour the paint into a paint tray.
2. Using the brush, paint corners, grout lines and places that cannot be reached with a roller in a thin layer.
3. Apply the paint over the entire surface with a roller in a thin layer, making sure not to apply too much paint, as this may cause the paint to sag on the surface.
4. Allow at least 16 hours of drying time between coats.
5. Apply the second coat in the same way.
6. Remove the tapes immediately after applying the last coat.
7. Replace the removed silicone with new
