Rosewood veneer is renowned as one of the most prized in the world. It blends several shades of violet, dark brown, and streaks of black. Due to its multicolour characteristics and durability, rosewood is one of the most preferred woods worldwide. The board is handcrafted using the marquetry technique, also known as inlay, in which different types of veneer are cut into shapes. The shapes are then arranged and fitted into one another, thus creating a playing field of incredible beauty.
