Description

Hi-Fi receiver with CD

KENWOOD KR-W8000SCD-B Receiver – Smart Hi-Fi CD Receiver with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and DAB+

A single device brings together CD, radio, streaming, and turntable in the home's stereo center.

The KENWOOD KR-W8000SCD-B receiver is an all-in-one Hi-Fi CD receiver that connects passive speakers and plays CD, DAB+ and FM radio, internet radio, podcasts, Spotify and Deezer. The built-in phono input (MM) accepts a turntable directly, while the color TFT display shows artist, album, and station logos. Control is via the included remote control or via smartphone using the OKTIV and UNDOK apps.

All sources in one device – CD, DAB+, streaming

KENWOOD KR-W8000SCD-B plays CD and CD-R/RW discs, receives DAB+ and FM radio, and streams internet radio, podcasts, Spotify Connect, and Deezer via Wi-Fi. Bluetooth 5.2 adds direct music playback from a phone or tablet. Thus, a single component replaces several devices in the living room.

3.2" Color TFT Display and Smartphone Control

The color TFT display of the KR-W8000SCD-B clearly shows the selected source, title, album, artist, and station logos from a distance. The OKTIV and UNDOK apps bring the entire menu to the phone's screen – station changing and sound adjustment without getting up from the couch. The infrared remote control is included in the package.

Digital amplifier with DSP and 11 EQ settings

The KENWOOD KR-W8000SCD-B digital amplifier with DSP works with speakers from 4 to 8 ohms and builds a stereo system with real Hi-Fi sound. Eleven preset EQ settings and dedicated memory for bass and treble provide quick tuning according to the music and the room. The active subwoofer output expands the bass range when you want more depth.

Phono input for turntable and rich connectivity with TV and console

The rear panel of the KR-W8000SCD-B features a phono input (MM) for direct connection of a turntable, line input and output, as well as optical and coaxial digital inputs for a TV, TV receiver, or gaming console. The front USB-A port plays MP3 files from a flash drive, and the 3.5 mm headphone jack is also located on the front for nighttime listening.
